Azul Fuego Mexican Restaurant

The black beans were perfectly al dente. Service was excellent. The taco salad needs more lettuce though.

I’ve driven past Azul Fuego more times than I can count, always telling myself, one of these days I need to try that place. Well, today was finally the day—and it did not disappoint! We arrived in the quiet hours between lunch and dinner, which turned out to be perfect. The main dining room still held the remnants of a bustling lunch crowd, but we were seated right away and opted for the spacious patio. Getting there took us through another cozy dining area, and outside we found a large shaded patio complete with a stage for live music, a play area for kids (a thoughtful touch), and an outdoor bar that likely comes alive on weekends. Visited on a Wednesday night. The Carne Asada fajitas were very good (so good I forgot to get a picture) and big enough to get an extra order of (4) corn tortillas. The fried ice cream was good too. Multiple seating areas, including a back patio where there is a small stage for music and some yard games for kids. Service was prompt and friendly. There is a gravel parking lot adjacent to the restaurant and on-street parking, although there are multiple restaurants in the area and parking could be difficult on a busy weekend.

Food terribly bland and boring. Fajitas were mainly onions Little dry meat. Rice and beans tasteless out of a can. Salsa watery and bland. Chips and salsa cost $5. Atmosphere of a train station. Glaring lights. Don’t go there. We will never go again

Great location and had great deals. 25% off taco Tuesdays and the food is delicious. The chorizo and Barbacoa were delicious. The fajitas were also good with the melted cheese on top. Meat is seasoned very well and wasn’t over cooked. Had multiple meals over time here. The service is great and the location is somewhat new and very clean. Bathrooms are nice and clean as well. Outside seating is available.
