Azteca Mexican Food is a must-stop! The food is incredibly delicious and tastes just like homemade, authentic Mexican food. Everything is made fresh from scratch, and you can truly taste the quality in every bite. The owner is such a kind and sweet lady, which makes the experience even more special. Every time we head to the lakes, we always stop here—it’s become our favorite tradition since it’s right on the way. If you’re visiting the area, please support her business. They say when the hospitality is amazing the food is amazing. Both of the owners were super nice and respectful. You can tell they don't do it for the money but because they enjoy to cook for others. They both explained everything on the menu. I ended up having the mulitas and tacos. The Asada was cooked just right had tons of flavors. Don't get me started on the green and red salsa, which the red was my favorite. The Horchata was homemade and excellent. Just everything with the atmosphere was right and wanted to say Thank You for that. Appreciate it and will stop by a few more times before I head back home.

The service was excellent, and the servings were good sized portions. We were stuffed the rest of the day! We had cheese & jalepeno tamales and al pastor tacos, both of which were very good. Seating is outside on wood picnic tables with shade cover. When we ordered we were given a free glass of homemade grape juice, which was really refreshing and not too sweet. We would come back again and again if we lived in the area.
