Customer Reviews
I vote this restaurant as Indonesian restaurant with the best service and atmosphere. Not only Awang that sometimes greet the customers, both waiters are very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant seems to always filled with Indonesian that make us feel like home. For the food, just like other restaurants, there are some that are very delicious and some that are ok. You got to know their specialty (based on Awang’s explanation, it is for Jakarta food). In my personal preference, I like their Bebek Madura, Ayam Geprek, Mie Ayam, Bubur Ayam and Gado-Gado. For appetizer, their Sate Ayam is delicious, Tahu isi is good, Tempe mendoan is too thick to be called mendoan (should be just Tempe goreng) but it’s delicious. Some food that I feel need improvement (doesn’t mean they’re not good) are
I always come here for the food. A lot of Indonesian variety of food. Grill chicken is always great. The es campur is wonderful. Some of the food taste more inferior than the last time I ate, but still this is the best choice for Indonesian food in Queens
Good food, authentic indonesian food. My fave goes to Kwetiao (we tried Bun version), Nasi bungkus Padang is nice too, and Bakso is nice during cold/winter season. Portion is ok, price is ok too for NYC i guess. Recommended if you're in area.
I went to this place with my Indonesian Friend and ordered Pregnant meat ball Soup & spinach sauté & finally a dessert & O.LORD did I fall in love with it !!! It amazing and will go back in a heart beat. Definitely endorse this place. Must check it out. ❤️
We were recommended this place by an Indonesian, and it surely did deliver! Compared to Indonesian food in Manhattan, this was much tastier, beating our expectations and restoring our impression of the cuisine. The savory fish cake appetizer and the nasi bungkus padang with beef rendang was so good. The chicken noodle water spinach wasn’t bad but I would’ve preferred getting another nasi dish instead, as the noodles were soggy. The food was also super affordable, costing less than what we typically spend for lunch even with appetizer, two entreés, and dessert.
