Finally found a hidden gem nearby! 🍜 After the snow today, I was craving a warm bowl of ramen and Seichou delivered. I ordered the Steak Ramen and it was delicious. We started with the fried squid legs, which were super crispy and flavorful. To drink, the Iced Matcha Latte was a pleasant surprise—not too milky, just the way a real matcha should be. They have a massive menu, so I’ll definitely be back to try more!
This is my go-to Japanese restaurant in Elmhurst. I’ve tried many of their dishes and they consistently meet my expectations. I highly recommend the Takoyaki and ikageso —the Takoyaki comes in a generous portion and is full of flavor, while the ikageso is tasty and perfectly crispy. The Niku Udon and Gyudon are quite similar (one with noodles, the other with rice), and both are enjoyable. I’ve also tried the Steak Ramen and Chashu Don, which were decent, though not my top picks. For the Ebi Fried, I personally wish the shrimp were a bit larger. Overall, I really enjoy this restaurant, which is why I keep coming back to try more of their dishes. The Takoyaki alone makes every visit worthwhile.
Cozy ramen place with a cozy atmosphere. I love their green tea and the ramen and udon noodle soup was so good and needed after a cold day.
my new favorite restaurant at elmhurst, portions are big and the server Ja is so sweet and nice. Their spicy tonkotsu is similar to ichiran.
So happy our neighborhood finally has its own ramen spot! They have a nice selection of ramen and other dishes. We really like the shoyu ramen and steak ramen, which have a rich, comforting broth and perfectly tender noodles. The chicken katsu curry is another go-to for us. The curry is full of flavor, and the chicken katsu is cooked perfectly. The gyoza was also great. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend checking them out!!
