A&W Restaurant

I have never eaten at the A&W here in Leavenworth. The food is delicious. I received my burger and onion rings and they were piping hot. The onion rings may be Panko crumb and not beer batter but they are so nice and crunchy. I am a picky onion, ring eater. The burger was awesome. Yeah sure I had to pull around and wait, but it was so worth it it definitely hit the spot much to my surprise A&W all-American food is one of few fast food chains that actually serve 100% Beef Burgers. The McDonald’s is right next-door to A&W, but they have soy protein isolate in their burgers. For your money A&W all American food Is better priced than McDonald’s and actually offers real food, real beef. If I ever want a burger, I am coming here again quite frankly I think the burgers are actually better than W

The moment I walked into the store, I thought, “What is that smell?” It felt like a mix of restroom odor, garbage, and food smells all combined. When I got my food, I was disappointed. The fries I ordered on the side were so hard. who would eat fries this hard? If someone broke a tooth eating them, who would take responsibility? The fish didn’t taste good and wasn’t warm. I asked for tartar sauce, but the staff gave me a different sauce instead. I appreciate that, but I thought it would have been better if they had asked me again if they didn’t understand me the first time.

Atmosphere: DIRTY...!! Alive flies.... Dead flies on the window sills. Poorly cleaned tables. Dirty floors. Spiders in the corners of the walls. Awful bathrooms!! Feels like a sketchy Gas Station. Food: Ran out of chicken on the A&W menu (but had somehow not the Long John Silver's side). The Chicken on the Long John Silver menu looks EXACTLY like the fish. They even put it in the same box, for some reason? Very weird. The cheese curds were all stuck together. The Mini Corndogs were on the verge of "burnt". The fish and chicken - being cooked the same way and looking like twins - were oddly salty. Service: They seemed okay. Until I heard one of the employees yell - very loudly from the back kitchen - "EW!!!"

Terrible service. Terrible food. overall terrible. My partner and I went through the drive through on 8/26/24 around 7 pm(which is both our first time at A&W). The first red flag was being immediately sent to the window to order instead of the drive through. We had to pull up the menu on our phones because we didn’t know what was on the menu. We had to wait 15-20 minutes for our food, which our order was small. The guy that ordered behind us left first. When we finally got our food, everything seemed fine, the chili cheese fries looked okay but they barely put any chili and cheese on top. Which i didn’t really mind, had to wait longer for our 2 shakes and almost forgot the root beer. They skimped out on one of our shakes, while the other is full. The root beer tastes like gasoline. I ordered food and received it right away. Service was fantastic. The food was hot and fresh. They even gave us cool glass mugs to drink out of!
