A&W Restaurant

RUDEST encounter I’ve ever had with a manager. Husband literally just ordered a burger. Simple. No mustard, no lettuce, no pickle, add onion and ketchup. Very easy. Gave my husband the biggest attitude over it and treated him like trash. Then refused to serve or look at him. Made a young girl, who was very kind, serve. Totally ridiculous!! No one asked for anything out of the ordinary. DO YOUR JOB!!!! I feel totally uncomfortable eating the food now. After that kind of rudeness and attitude, it’s hard to trust the food. My husband DID HEAR what you had to say about him by the way. This happened 12-8 around 2:30pm. Grandson had a soccer game. A tradition after his game we go and enjoy a dessert, root beer float. It also helps us to cool off and relax, before the trip back to Des Moines.

Went through the drive-thru and I put my order in. The gal at the window was nice and knew what she was doing. I heard the car behind order ice cream only so she sent me to the parking spot and told me they'd bring my order out. Two minutes later I had my pizza burger with only pickle and onion, piping hot fresh fries, and a Root Beer. I spent just under 10 bucks. Loved every bite!

A good, clean restaurant for a meal or a quick treat. The root beer floats are as good as anticipated from an A&W, and the blueberry soft serve ice cream is a refreshing flavor. There are several sandwiches available, including a pork tenderloin. The seating area is spacious, and there are several TVs. There are also tables with umbrellas for sitting outdoors when the weather is nice. I remember going to the old location by the fairgrounds when I was a kid, and I'm glad there's still an A&W in town when I visit.

Food was hot and tasty. Very consistent always. Order accurate and service friendly. The grilled chicken strips and onion rings were excellent! Thank you!
