A&W Restaurant

Very nice, classic A&W (non drive-in) that is pften very busy with customers. There's a classic counter as well booths where your order is taken to you. Hot and fresh with a big tasty, cold mug of their root beer classic, and you can't go wrong. Great onion rings.

A&W is a classic place and is great to stop by for a quick bite to eat. The menu includes burgers, chicken tenders, hot dogs, shakes and floats. They also have a kids menu. I ordered ahead using the app and my food was ready within 5 min or arriving. The workers were extremely polite and friendly. We got a burger combo which we upgraded to the large fries. And they gave a full amount of fries in the small bag. The onion rings were the star of the show featuring real onion and a crunchy, crispy breading. Outstanding!

The food was terrible. We spent over 40 bucks for overcooked fish and chicken. The burger was so so. The onion rings and fries were ok. About the only good thing was the rootbeer floats. Maybe A&W should just stick to the rootbeer floats and NOT food. Back in Ohio years ago A&W was GREAT! But like all good things they fade away and go out of business. I would recommend the rootbeer floats here in Wisconsin but not the food!

Used to come here all the time with our two young boys. So it has been a while. We wanted to make some root beer floats at home. The best possible rootbeer is the stuff that you get at the restaurant, and NOT in stores. It is made fresh, has great vanilla flavors, and is not overly carbonated. The friendly and helpful server explained that I could get it either in a plastic container or glass container. The glass costs more, but it can refilled for less costs, AND it looks way more cool than the plastic jug. A side note. The place was busy, and things seemed a little chaotic, but everyone was friendly and doing their best to make every happy.

If you want a consistently good tasting meal, this place is for you. Be prepared to eat soon after you order. The kitchen is super fast. The prices are good and they have a very generous rewards program. When you step into this A & W, you will think you are in a small town far from the city. The friendly staff is always very welcoming and offer great service.
