Auburn Valley Humane Society Cat Café

I was really looking forward to visiting the kitty café, but I didn’t realize you need an appointment to spend time with the cats. I stopped by on a Monday around 1:30 p.m., and although no one was with the cats at the time, the earliest available appointment wasn’t until 3:30 p.m., so we weren’t able to see or meet any cats today. I was also told there’s a $10 fee to visit the cats, which surprised me since they’re available for adoption. I’ve never been to a humane society where there was a charge just to see the animals.

Cute kitties!!! What more do I need to say? But even aside from the wonderful cats, I loved that the place was clean, quiet, and relatively private. My sister and I did a walk-in on Wednesday for a discounted price, and we got a room with three cute kittens to ourselves. It was clean, quiet, and had sensible rules to keep the kitties safe. I loved every second!

Such a cute, and affordable place to grab a cup of coffee and play w kitties….two things that I love the most..staff was xtra friendly and helpful. I’d definitely coming back… If you like me cannot have pets where u live..check out this place… 10$ for 30min for walk in 20$ for 1hour for appointment. All the money will go to humane society to help other animals. All the cats that I met today were adopted 😀😍 I’d recommend this to everyone…

Truly such a positive and welcoming environment. All the staff I’ve interacted with have been so friendly and informative. I love seeing people ranging from young to old coming out of the cat rooms, with a huge smile on their face. They’re truly doing such a good thing for these cats, finding them forever homes. I wish I could spend all my time there, it’s an amazing place. The cats are so playful and adorable, I always walk out feeling like a new person.

First time at a cat café, and it was a great experience! Booking online was super easy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We visited to see if my daughter who's just starting kindergarten might be ready for a cat of her own. This visit gave us a chance to see how she interacted with the cats in a safe, relaxed environment. It helped us realize she might need a little more time before taking that step. Places like this are so valuable not only for families like ours, but for the well-being of the cats too. It’s a great way to prevent animals from ending up in shelters by helping people make thoughtful decisions. Highly recommend!
