Customer Reviews
Never had been to one before. I was highly impressed. From the outside I'm not gonna lie it kinda looks like a Perkins from afar. But far from that. Very nice inside. Big TVs huge bar area nice outside seating very nice dining room. Food was fantastic service was good. One very minor thing I hope a manager sees is there were tons and tons of glasses and bar dishes all stacked up at the end not a great look. But overall very good!
We love Aubrey’s and this the first experience we had that wasn’t “up to par”. We got sat in the bar area at a booth that wasn’t so bad it wasn’t crowded or too loud, food was excellent as always but the waitress was slow, I asked for some bread which never showed up, she had only 4 tables to wait and the table beside of us had to ask for their ticket twice. The bartender told them “they sent someone to find her”. When she did return she stopped a the loudest table first, then the table that wanted their check, then to go clean an outside table and then back to the “loud table”. I get it, when your tips come from who are the drunkest, (or the perception I had). People have bad days, I understand that completely but you are there to do a job.
Been coming here for years and have reviewed in the past. Great atmosphere whether setting in the bar(can get loud during UT games) or the restaurant areas, also have plenty of outdoor seating. Staff is always friendly and service is excellent. My go to are the rooster sandwich, classic burger or the pizza Rockefeller (pictured along with side salad and reminent of bread...both very good). 1-16-26: the Rooster sandwich is awesome, side of chips and capper sauce to dip them in tops it off. Jess provided great, friendly service
So the food did take a while, and it was really not that busy in there. The cocktails that we ordered were not good at all. After a long exhausting day, we were hungry and ready to unwind and relax. Basic old-fashioned was horrible, the Paloma tasted very watery and then asked for a Dos XX, we got some dark lager beer. I did have the grilled chicken breast, which was very juicy and delicious with the lime rice. One of the guys on our table wanted a simple baked tilapia with no sides or veggies. He got his fish over a bit of rice plus it was covered in seasoning which he specifically said didn’t want anything on it so he just returned it and ended up not even eating
This was probably our third visit here in a year. We've never had a disappointing meal. Actually, it's always been very good. Today my wife had the filet mignon with a baked potato, both of which were very nice. I had the fish and chips which was Alaskan Pollock. Huge portion and very good. The fish was cooked perfectly, not mushy and not turned to shoe leather. The chips were definitely a notch above the typical French fries. They are sliced potato, chip shaped and double fried I believe. Crispy outside and still potato like on the inside. Ample refills on the drinks. The only slightly weird thing was that they serve you bread, a roll, before the meal. There were two of us and the wait person brought one roll on a plate. I noticed on tables nearby, that the number of rolls matched the num
