Atwater Memorial Library

Beautiful library that was renovated not too long ago. They have excellent programs and the staff is very helpful. The kids room is a sunken area down a small flight of steps with a bathroom.

Nice, sweet, accomodating and wonderful as long as you're white! Went there to use the computer and print copies and ignored me when I had a problem formatting my print request. I was ganged up on and told to, "go somewhere else" because they weren't there to help me. Ended up going to the Blackstone Library in Branford where they are much more welcoming, accommodating and tolerant of people of color. True story...

I love this library, but the children's director is on vacation a lot which stinks when things get canceled. And the children's library is not parent friendly. All adult seating is at the back. So you can't see both staircases from any one point. It would be so much better if the toys were by the stairs and the books were where the toys are. Otherwise, i love this library and it's my favorite option.

This place is amazing since the 2010 renovation. Very modern, can charge/play all devices, tables are set up near outlets. Good organized selection of books, the historical section is set up nicely. The staff is amazing. My only caveat is that they keep it a bit too cold in there during cold Winter days.

Drove by it for 20 years. Finally went in. So nice! Lovely space, helpful people and just pleasant. Go in!
