Atlantic Seafood Retail Market

Not a local but I was just visiting a friend. I wanted to do a crab boil. Said friend was an avid fisherman and claimed this was one of the worst places to go. But I said let's give it a try. I've been to seafood markets that were fishy smelling (obviously) but this took your breath way. That was crazy to me. The prices were high and the had no crabs and the fish looked old and no fresh looking at all. The kid working there was spitting on the dock while on the phone (it wasn't busy). I was there for 2 months and this place was NEVER BUSY (maybe 1 vehicle). I was honestly surprised to see so many good reviews considering the other markets not too far away. This one sadly is a hard pass for me.

The manager, Connor McDermott, is awesome in his customer service traits. He and his staff are extremely knowledgeable on all seafood types and always willing to help. The company's prices are good, and their selection is always fresh- always appearing to have been caught recently. We purchase all our seafood from Atlantic!

I got 2 bushels of oysters and had to pay $5 extra for each to get the mud washed off of them. Went in Saturday to get some spots and flounder but they don't clean the fish on weekends! Another time I was charged $5 extra to clean the fish. I think the service you get depends on who's there.

I love the enthusiasm the counter boys offer I’m single and they’re so patient when I want a little bit of this and that Fresh seafood good service Nothing left to say Visit them again

We've been going here annually since 2016, stopping in to buy the crab legs. I don't know a lot about fresh seafood but I can say that the people there are always really nice and usually go above and beyond making sure we at least got what we paid for, and usually more!
