Atlantic County Library System / Absecon Branch

I’ve always been able to get intra-library loans with ease. Also, I really like being able to use the Libby and Hoopla apps for digital book rentals. Thank you for providing that service!

Even though I haven't owned a library card for years I visit this library to use their computers I also use the copy/scan and fax service. The ladies who work here are always pleasant and helpful. .It is clean and calming atmosphere. Go visit and enjoy the Absecon Library

Not even one star the blonde girl with glasses had a very non welcoming- disgusting attitude. People like that just want to go home collect a check and be rude to everyone- go to a different library.

Funny, this review was posed by someone 4 years ago and exactly what he's saying obviously is still going on. like right now. and it's everyday! MESSAGE ALERT To ALL the LIBRARY employees I have this to say. Follow the SAME RULES you claim to enforce and expect from your patrons. I thought libraries were supposed to be a quiet place. Not this one. And its not the people, its the library employees and all their friends who stop in to say hi. Its not as if they're even talking about work related issues. Its gossip. I'm sitting here right now listening to them finish up one conversation about a TV show called Scandal and right now start talking about their neighbors and who calls who what. The worst hours of any public library I've ever encountered. 10 to 3 M-F and 10-1 on Saturday? I mean, why even bother opening on Saturday if you are only going to be open for three hours? And yet we continue to pay taxes out the wazoo while public entities like this library can have such cushy hours and not be available when people are not at work. Terrible. I use Galloway's library exclusively even though I live closer to the Absecon one.
