Tried our first 3-way roast beef calzone, hands down it was delicious! Ordered a large, and about the size of a large pizza. The crust tasted like a garlic pizza crust, really good with the beef! It does come with sauce on it, but they give you sides as well! Would definitely give this a try - I’ve never had roast beef in a calzone, but this was a winner! Prices are fair too - not over priced for your portion! I called ahead - said the order would be ready in 10 mins, super quick!
The Italian sub with everything, didn't have hots or oil and seemed on the lighter side of meat. The bread was soft and delicious, but overall, there are better Italian subs out there.
Non local: heard about the excellence of the North Shore Beef. So glad I stopped here! Ordered the Regular Beef 3 Way and it was superb. There was a mountain of tender, melt-in-your-mouth, cooked rare-medium-rare beef with tangy mayo, creamy cheese, and the zingy BBQ sauce. The BBQ sauce has a nice body to it and a pronounced Worcestershire-like umami flavor which really complements the sandwich. The seeded regular bun has a nice toasted crunch to contrast the tender meat. My only desire would be a more beefy flavor, but not at the expense of the excellent tenderness. Immediately compared this to Jamie's: Atha's is the clear victor in terms of overall sandwich balance, doneness, value, and friendly staff.
One of my friend told me to try this place, ordered a roast beef 3 way calzone at 11am, got a text at 11:12am that my food was ready to pick up. Went to store to pick up and was told it was a few more mins. After about 15 mins I asked again if my food was almost ready as I needed to get back to work for noon. At this time I saw the gentleman in the back start to make my food. So I asked again how much longer will it be, and got the response, “only 5 mins more, it takes 7 in the oven.” At this time it was already 11:40 and I had to get back to work. After having to argue with the worker that I needed to go and couldn’t wait for the food to cook. They said that they couldn’t do any refunds but they would deliver it. At about 12:15, the lady came to my door and rang the door bell 8 times and
Okay pizza, but needs more sauce. Great deal for 2 slices of cheese and can of soda for $4.99. Almost $9 for pepperoni added to the pizza. Does it really cost $4 for a few slices of pepporoni on a pizza?
