I’ve never come across a place like this—it’s small, with maybe two or three employees, but they’re incredibly professional. The coffee? Always consistent. Every single time. And it’s absolutely magnificent. The flavor of the coffee is unmatched. You simply won’t find anything like it anywhere else in Southern California. I’ve tried coffee from many places, visited countless cafes, but nothing compares to the experience here. The atmosphere, the quality, and the professionalism of the staff—everything about this place stands out. There’s truly nothing like our Manniqain.

What's shopping without a quick coffee break? What used to be Antonello Espresso Cafe is now Armani Cafe. Parking: This little spot is located in the South Coast Plaza. There's parking lots and parking garages. Ambiance/Environment: This spot is more so a quick grab-n-go. There are very limited tables in front of the cafe. The experience can definitely be enhanced with a designated seating area and decor. Especially with the prices. I visited on a Saturday afternoon, and it was busyyy. They had a consistent line. Service: There were only 3 workers. One cashier and two baristas. Service was simply quick and efficient. Drinks: I got an iced latte with dulce de leche. The layers were aesthetically pleasing. The coffee drinks were quite enjoyable, and the buttercream cake featuring the café’s initials was a delightful treat that perfectly satisfied my afternoon craving for something sweet and caffeinated. While the service was satisfactory, the ambiance could be enhanced, as the establishment primarily offers a counter and tables, giving it a more casual vibe than the traditional café atmosphere.

Nan & Reece Make the Armani Cafe Shine! My visit to the Armani Cafe at South Coast Plaza was a lovely escape and honestly, the service made the experience truly exceptional. It's chic, comfy and elevated, but the atmosphere remains incredibly warm and inviting, thanks entirely to the fantastic team. I have to give a massive shoutout to Nan and Reece. They are always amazing and welcoming every single time I stop by! Their friendly faces and professionalism make you feel cozy and right at home. The desserts are just as impressive as the service. If you have a sweet tooth, you're in luck. The selection is divine—I particularly enjoyed the flaky, buttery croissants and lemon ricotta cookies are to die for - I highly recommend popping in to treat yourself!

Antonello was one of my favorite places to stop and relax while shopping at South Coast Plaza. The coffee was great, the baristas were professional, and the service was prompt. That's all gone after Armani Caffè took over this year. The coffee is mediocre (my cappuccino tasted like it was espresso+water instead of espresso+milk), the barista gave me newbie vibes and even messed my order (he had to do it again). Total disaster. I know it's hard for me to say it (because I detest Starbucks and its bitter coffee), but the two Starbucks locations in the mall serve better coffee beverages. Pity...
