Customer Reviews
This place is Mesa’s hidden gem! Been coming here for a couple weeks now to pick up side dishes. The kimchi is the best i've ever had. Hong, the owner, is also the cook and you can tell she takes pride in the food she makes. She is an absolute sweetheart. Like many of the other reviews have mentioned, she is incredibly friendly and makes you feel like you are family. I would highly recommend everyone make a visit, to meet the charismatic Hong, and to try her yummy food!
Great selection of side dishes and lunch boxes. I got kimchi, squid salad, fish cakes, bulgogi lunch box. All are delicious. The kimchi is so much better than all the store bought brands I tried before. Highly recommend!
I went to Arirang yesterday I got 5 different items and all of them are sooo good. While I was picking some item the owner/ chef came out and brought out new freshly made food and she give me recommendations. Then she grabbed my hand and said come come to my kitchen. I want you to taste my fish cake. She has huge wok of fish cake and it was hot and soo good. Food is good and customer service is awesome.🥰
I’m so happy that a Korean banchan shop has finally opened in Arizona! The owner and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. There was a wide variety of side dishes neatly displayed, making it easy and pleasant to shop. There was also a separate space where you could enjoy items like kimbap and dosirak (Korean lunch boxes), and they even had a water dispenser available for customer convenience. The prices weren’t cheap, but they were reasonable and not too expensive either. It would be even better if they offered homemade meal kits or side dishes that aren’t typically found in other Korean markets and restaurants. I bought mini jokbal (braised pig’s feet), green onion kimchi, godulbaegi (young radish kimchi), and stir-fried fish cakes—and every single one of them was absolutely delici
The side dishes are delicious and taste so authentic and fresh. The owner is really kind and sweet and very attentive. Will definitely be back.
