Arctic Circle

Wish I could give a better rating. Ordered the halibut sandwich combo (around $20 with tip) and they gave me a chicken sandwich. I was already 20 miles down the road so I couldn’t go back. Sandwich wasn’t even good. A bun, lettuce, 2 slices of tomato and a dry chicken breast. So disappointing.

This is one of my go-to fast food spots whenever I'm visiting Newport or if I'm in the Lincoln City area too. At least at this specific Arctic Circle they have the famous fry sauce fresh which is the original and still the best fry sauce not in a package like Woodburn, Oregon's Arctic Circle does and the Oregon Coast one is 10x superior to the one in the Willamette Valley/Woodburn!!!

We stopped here in a hurry. Definitely a in and out place food was something you'd pop in a microwave had i know this i would have never stopped ! It was packed to begin with wich why I stopped 16.99 for frozen boxed fish sticks and my husband got 5 shrimp wich were okay but also probably frozen to begin with. The restroom was dirty floor was wet and paper towels over flowing out the trash bin the eating area had food allover the floors various areas. It was busy establishment I want to understand but I will not return here

I was on vacation in Newport Oregon and saw the Artic Circle still in business. They used to be everywhere in and around Portland. Their fries and fry sauce cannot be beat by any other fast food chain. The Ranch Burgers, same thing. But the Taco Salad stands alone in quality and freshness. The tortilla shell is fresh and warm loaded with fresh salad and tomatoes. Topped off with the best ground beef and taco sauce. But I think the best part of the experience, it's never changed in flavor in the 35 plus years I've been going to Artic Circle.

Artic Circle his pure nostalgia for me. So happy that it's still open. I have coming to Arctic Circle's since I was in pigtails. The staff here is great & always in a good mood. The food is good, the restaurant is always clean. Definitely a must stop by when you're in Newport! Best fry sauce ever.
