Arbor House Inn Bed & Breakfast on the River

I first stayed at Arbor House Inn last year and enjoyed it so much I made a point of including on my itinerary for this year's cross-country road trip. It is in a beautiful location on the banks of the swiftly flowing, crystal clear South Fork of the Santa Fe River below Wolf Creek Pass making it very popular with fishermen, hikers, and other outdoors enthusiasts. The decor is luxurious, the breakfasts delicious, and Lorraine & Keith are wonderful hosts. The other guest I've encountered there are uniformly friendly and engaging. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful 5-day vacation at Arbor House and hope to return many times. It is peaceful and relaxing and absolutely lovely, indoors and outdoors. Keith and Laurie have thought of everything to pamper their guests and make them feel welcomed, including afternoon tea and treats in the beautiful dining room. Breakfasts were excellent, our room spacious, light, comfortable, and gorgeously decorated. We enjoyed walking around the property, watching a variety of birds, and listening to the river running by. On a clear night, so many stars are visible, unlike in the big cities. There are restaurants nearby and scenic drives into the mountains. We loved our stay!|The Lees

This was our first time staying in a B&B, but let me just say, they set the bar high. Keith and Laurie were so hospitable and the place was amazing. The grounds are well kept and it’s so serene. The room we stayed in was spacious with a private bathroom. The breakfasts were so delicious, with fresh veggies/herbs from her own garden! The icing on the cake was a note written on their blackboard to wish us a happy anniversary. We will definitely revisit Arbor House Inn!!

We spent five wonderful days at Arbor House, and didn't want to leave. Everything was top notch, from the delicious breakfasts to our spacious and beautifully decorated room and bath. In fact, the entire property is absolutely lovely, inside and outside. We enjoyed tea and treats, provided by our hosts, every afternoon in the dining room, where we also played cards and board games. Keith and Laurie are the most attentive, friendly and welcoming hosts possible. We felt like family, and we are excited about going back.

We stay an many B&Bs throughout the US and this is by far at the top of our list. Lori and Keith go above an beyond to make one feel welcome. The accommodations are among the best we have experienced. Lori's breakfasts are great as well as beautiful. |The setting is wonderful. This was our 5th time to return and will do so again. You can not go wrong with a stay.
