Applebee's Grill + Bar

We are from Oregon and decided to stop in somewhere we “know”. My husband purchased his favorite Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp. The entire plate was over cooked and lacked the deep flavor it is supposed to have. It didn’t. I purchased a side of Mac and cheese instead of fries for my prime rib dipper . It came COLD. No exaggeration. Ice cold. I took it home for later. The sandwich was ok bc of the Auju & bread. The meat had been killed twice. For real. Dry. The waitress was Nina and she was sweet and on the job but super quiet. Hard to hear her. She was the bright spot. We also found it kind of funny, coming from Oregon, all of the snowboard and ski skiing pictures where we were sitting it made us look up where you can ski in Mississippi We found one spot with artificial snow🤣🤣

I haven’t been to a Applebees in a while and tonite didn’t disappoint! Our waitress was so so kind and our food literally looked like the picture and tasted even better! Walked in and sat to the left can’t recall our waitresses name started with a T so we can say Ms.T. She made suggestions and showed us the specials with a great vibe. I’m a local business owner and had to take the time to write this much deserved review. Truly appreciate how kind and friendly she was to me and my son after a long work day. Tomorrow is thanksgiving and I’m thankful to have had a good nite out with my son and Ms.T deserves credit! Also want to give huge props to the kitchen and bartender as well we will return soon happy Thanksgiving to you all!

I only gave this two stars because my friend and I stopped by this location just to hang out, first off the appetizer tasted off, I got my favorite spinach dip, as we ate we both noticed something wasn’t right. Well I soon noticed that the chips were stale, so I ordered a fresh batch which was brought and the manager made sure it was cooked properly and I appreciated that. My issue was when I got ready to leave, I ordered the chocolate chip cookie dough sizzling dessert. But before I was able to order it I was told I had to go ahead and pay for my previous order because the ticket couldn’t be taken back and I was like why can’t it be charged on a separate ticket and she looked crazy like I asked a dumb question and soon said ok. This was one of my favorite restaurants when younger. I stopped eating out as much so really don’t visit very often. Went today because they offered Veterans a free meal. This has been going on for more than a decade but I rarely take the time to enjoy the offer. But I definitely appreciate what they do each year for Veterans. We were also given $5 gift card. This was unique to all establishments and once again very thoughtful!!!!! Someone in corporate really put a lot of thought into what it means to be a Veteran. My cousin and I decided to go together. We had such a great experience as the server was very nice and the atmosphere was very pleasant and clean. The restroom was also clean. I ordered pasta and he ordered chicken fingers. The pasta was very good! They also have 2 Veteran parki

Third trip to this location. 2 managers and 6 employees in the bar. 7 customers counting me and my guest. Sat at the bar and took 12 minutes to get any attention. Asked for a draft, that was flat. Asked for a second draft and the tap was dry. Asked for a bourbon and diet Coke and they blamed the ABC store for no liquor. The phone rang for several minutes but the manager told one of his only 2 people even waiting tables to get it instead of getting it himself. Absolute worst managed establishment I've ever been in. We left and went down the street. This place will be reorganizing soon.
