Applebee's Grill + Bar

LONG PARAGRAPH: Ok listen, I am not one to complain or act like a Karen I promise, as someone who also works in the food industry with and deals with customers I get customers can be a pain sometimes and I try and be very respectful to other food service workers! however last night’s service absolutely SUCKED. Last night I was delivering door dash and got an order to pick up from here, just to pick up 1 combo appetizer! Usually they are super good with DoorDash orders, except for last night…. Enter through the back door and stood there for a good 5-10 minutes, MIND YOU it was not that busy, maybe 3 tables and a few people at the bar… there was a sever about a few tables down having a full on conversation with a table (cool, whatever) still standing waiting multiple other servers PLUS who

The hostess first tired to set me in a folding table booth with a whole side and bar opened. Yes, the table was a folding table. I ordered Sangria and the flies kept coming by. Table was sticky feeling. I did not receive a napkins. Steak was barely cooked. Pretzels were salty and cheese look dried and tasted like squeezed cheese.

I sat for 15 mins and acknowledged by bartender upon sitting down finally asked if i need something to drink. The service is mediocre maybe. The second time the bartender got off at 4 and the next one called in. The manager never offered to help and didnt even know how to make a drink that a server was trying to make. He just walked away. I travel for work and this is hamds down the worst Applebee's I have been to. The manager is a taller gentleman maybe JJ? All the reviews are adding up to management!!!!

Returned to Applebee's Prince Frederick, our table was cleaner this time, and the food was okay. We had to wait to be seated so we thought they were busy, not a problem for a Friday evening. But, what we saw were many open tables that were unbussed. There was no hostess available and we never saw a manager. Our waiter was attentive but when our food arrived we had no flatware and had to wait for flatware from the dishwasher. When we did get flatware it was wet and so were the napkins. No additional napkins were provided, we had to ask for some. Apparently this place needs better management, and staff training. The food was okay, but a little pricey. The atmosphere needs some help. The place needs a serious update. We had to wipe the seat back before we could sit and they are uncomfortable

Some of the worst food I've ever seen come out of a restaurant kitchen, and ridiculously overpriced. Overcooked steak. Old green beans. Wrinkled up mushrooms. Old salad. Paid more than $50 for what amounts to two soggy little t.v. dinners. We will never be back. Their kitchen manager - if this location even has one - needs to go, and the line cooks need to be retrained. I can't imagine this place staying in business much longer.
