Applebee's Grill + Bar

I consistently receive outstanding service at Applebee’s. The staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, creating a comfortable atmosphere for every guest. Giselle, the bartender, stands out with her exceptional hospitality—always tuned in to what customers need and quick to respond with a smile. Wednesday nights are especially memorable thanks to the lively karaoke scene. Great vibes, great people, and always a good time.

3-1-26 Wife and I come here every couple of months, and the food is usually good. However today was off. Wife ordered the Quesadilla Burger with fries. The tortilla was a bit hard, and the fries were barely warm. I ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken and Andouille Sausage Penne. The peppers and onions were woefully under cooked, yet the Andouille Sausage (andouille is always spicy, yet this was not) was burnt on one side. The chicken was cooked well, but had no flavor, and while the pasta and the sauce were fine, again, I expected some spice but found none. This was supposed to be a New Orleans inspired dish, but I was left wondering where the NOLA was in it. The server was polite and went out of her way to make sure we had all we needed. I asked for two classic margaritas and both had no alcohol in them. The service and staff were polite and friendly.

Went in for half-off apps and happy hr from 3-6pm at 4pm they charged me everything full price. I asked them about it and they ended up making the cheapest app half off which wasn’t even half off cus it was 8.99 and they changed it to 5.99. Paid $60 for 3 apps n 2 beers. Food was good. Just seemed odd why corporations do this

Our server was new and tried her best. However, our dessert order was messed up and we were charged for it when it was suppose to be free. Server reimbursed us out of her tip money. I didn't get a copy of our receipt, annoying but understandable since she was new. Lastly, Applebee's needs to improve the customer experience. My wife is allergic to the spinach dip, but Applebee's policy is to not allow substitutions. We paid extra to get salsa with the chips. I've had this same experience at other Applebee's. Disappointing.
