Apple Ridge Cafe

This cafe is so cozy and seriously gives 90s vibes. I don’t even know how to explain how it felt like I stepped back in time, the atmosphere reminded me of what going out with my family as a kid was like. The waitress was super kind and attentive. And the food was good but man, I should have gotten breakfast! There were so many things I wanted to try and I made too quick a choice. We got the chorizo breakfast burrito, the chorizo is $1.25 extra, and it came smothered so make sure to specify if that’s not how you’d like it. And the classic cheeseburger. Burrito: 8/10 Cheeseburger: 7/10 The cheeseburger is a flat patty and the flavor wasn’t my favorite. And the fries were pretty squishy. Overall, very satisfied with my dinner here! I got the chicken fried steak skillet with scrambled eggs and green chile. It came out in less than 5 minutes and was hot. The toast was perfect and they offered Tabasco and Cholula. Claudia was the best server, very friendly and switched to Spanish as I mentioned that I was learning and needed practice. The ONLY downside was that the chile wasn’t spicy at all and not as flavorful, NM will always win the chile debate imo. Highly recommend!

Very good food! We all enjoyed it! The service was awesome and fast!! Only thing is it gets pretty packed and theirs a long line . So we waited for 20mins but was worth it . Our server was awesome she did good work! And small place and lots of parking and restroom is outside and it’s clean. You have to get a door code for it ! Try their cinnamon roll that just melts in your mouth and we had the daily special steak and eggs and got chicken fried steak skillet that was a big portion to eat. So will be back to try something else next time we in town.

This was a great find!!! We wanted a classic diner with an at home atmosphere, that is exactly what we got. Great classic menu with good luck and breakfast picks. Service was friendly, fast and made us feel like regulars even on our first time there!!! Will definitely go here again. Bacon & Cheese omelet was simple, Green Chili was decent and both hit the spot. Loved the mashed potato style hash browns as well 😋

Ive started coming once a week sometimes once every two weeks and everytime the food is consistent, delicious, and the staff is amazing! Becoming me go to breakfast spot for my days off for sure! The green chili is also amazing!
