Flavor: A- Service: A Cocktails: A Solo dining: A When a brewery has a full bar and a legit food menu I’m on a little high before I even order. And you know I’m a sucker for a smashburger. And when it’s the only burger on the menu, even better. The Appalachian Smash comes with cheddar, mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion - and I got the double. The flavor on this one was strong - well-seasoned and juicy. Perfectly cooked. This brewery knows how to make a great burger. My only critique would be that the cheese was a little skimpy and I would do a more melty cheese on a smash burger. So I’m giving it an A- but it was so close to an A. My side upgrade was worth every bit of $2 - brussel sprouts tossed in pomegranate vinaigrette with candied pumpkin seeds and goat cheese. I can always app

Absolutely enjoyed visiting this place while in town. The beers and food were outstanding. It was college football Saturday, so the place was busy, but the staff did an awesome job keeping up with the demand. The pretzel was soft and hot with perfectly paired cheese. The wings were nice and spicy and a great match for a cold beer. The Nashville-style chicken sandwich was good, though it was probably our least favorite item we ordered. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot to grab a beer and if you’re looking for good food to go with it, this place delivers.

Loved our lunch here. They just switched over to the fall food menu. Great appetizers. Chili cheese fries and French onion dip were delicious. The cheeseburgers looked incredible. Got the whole family together. Plenty of space to spread out outside. Played cornhole and jenga. There was a giant fire burning at the stump dump next door but surprisingly did not smell.

Eat inside with your dog! Extremely dog friendly! Self-serve system, self-bussing system. On a cold wet day, it was a perfect escape to have a warm bite inside a cozy atmosphere with fellow doggies! Definitely one of Asheville's areas best kept secrets but the secret is out! I'm spreading the news! It's a shame that more places don't let people bring dogs inside, this place has a recipe for success. Come be part of the early pioneers of Mills River!

Great beer, chill location. Didn't have the food but it looked great. Friendly service. Plenty of great swag and to-go beer. Only thing its lacking inside is games for kids but tbh, that's up to the parents. Beautiful artwork inside and plenty of outdoor seating and entertainment.
