Antunez

Antunez is a favorite spot of mine in Spearfish. It is a cozy atmosphere with unique dishes for all palates. I have enjoyed every one of the dozens of meals I have had. The ceviche is world class. Their wine selection is the best in town! If you go, take a look at their market area. Great selection of items to take home and enjoy.

This place is Amazing! It's small but the atmosphere is cozy! The food? Oh Em G! The dishes are unique and the flavors make your mouth super happy! I didnt have enough room in my belly to try everything I was eyeing! Definitely going back for more!

If you have not discovered Antunez in Spearfish, put it on your ASAP list of go to dining experiences. Each time I go there the food is outstanding and the service is always friendly. The shrimp ceviche, smoked salmon tostadas, and black bean with sweet potato tacos are my favorites! The guacamole is a must have and save room for the Ancho Chile Crème Brule! Heaven in Spearfish!

As a local this restaurant by far is my favorite to take out of town company to. The food has incredible flavor, the staff is always very friendly, the music playing always makes it feel alive. The carnitas tacos with black beans and rice is my go to dish, but you really can’t go wrong. If you aren’t a cilantro lover not sure if this place is for you. Just ask before ordering if the dish has cilantro. So good!

UPDATE (7/2025): making it into the top 3 tacos of my life! No joke. I’ve been to Mexico, Spain, other Hispanic countries and eaten a lot of tacos - The pork carnitas tacos were unbelievable. And again, the staff and owners are fantastic, hard working and caring people. Older reviews: Two years ago (2023) I ate a late dinner here. I couldn’t forget the great time I had - drinks and food were outstanding. The atmosphere was fun too! So, now, I eat again, today (7/2024), it’s awesome and the people who work here and own the place rock. I highly recommend the ceviche and tacos of any sort.
