Anthony's Italian Deli

Exactly what I was hoping for!! I can't believe it's been here the whole time. A Baton Rouge treat and probably the best italian sandwich shop I've eaten at. Parking, indoor and outdoor seating, super friendly staff, gets a pleasant crowd when busy and serves everyone fast for the amount of people eating there any given day. My new favorite lunch spot!

I tried Anthony’s today and was very happy with my meal. I got the pizza poboy and my friend got a turkey Muffoletto. The people there are super friendly and wanna make sure you have a great dining experience. The atmosphere is very family friendly. If you’re in the mood for some good Italian sandwiches, give Anthony’s a try.

A buddy and I stopped in for lunch at Anthony’s Italian Deli in Baton Rouge, and it was an awesome experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the location is convenient, and the service was friendly and quick. My friend had the lunch spaghetti, and I went with the muffuletta — hands down the best muffuletta I’ve ever had! The flavors were incredible and the portions were generous. Anthony’s is a true gem, and I’ll definitely be back soon.

After a long day on the road, we were looking forward to our first meal in Baton Rouge, and Anthony’s seemed like a great pick. We love mom-and-pop places and enjoy Italian food, so the glowing reviews and long history had us excited. The staff was warm and friendly, and we appreciated the welcoming atmosphere. That said, we wish someone had advised us more strongly on portion sizes—while the comment “Y’all are going to have a lot of food” was made, we didn’t realize just how much. One Muffoletta would have been plenty for the two of us. We ordered the New Orleans Style Muffoletta, the Godfather, and a stuffed artichoke. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to our expectations. The sandwiches were average, and the stuffed artichoke was especially disappointing—it was so tough and fibro

@tableformaddie on instagram!! My oh my!!! My favorite food is Italian so i came in judging everything really hard!!! This place was absolutely amazing!!!! I had the shrimp spaghetti, which was great but i could not stop eating my boyfriends Deli sandwich!! It was absolutely out of this world!! Now that i know the food here is good i cannot wait to come back!! & dont get me started on hoe friendly the staff was!!!! I love it here!!!! Thank yall so much!!
