Another Broken Egg Cafe

Came here on a lark when I spotted it while looking for a coffee shop, and breakfast sounded good after checking out of the hotel. Stephanie, my server, was amazing and so considerate and attentive. It did not disappoint for a cozy & bustling little Texas country cafe with a trendy aesthetic. The food was super fresh and amazing with a definite Cajun flair, and beautifully presented. I had a hard time deciding what to order it all sounded amazing, and narrowed it down to the shrimp & grits, eggs Benedict, and corned beef & brussels sprouts hash. Went for the grits, but got a side of the hash to try. Was also able to get espresso drinks, which was a bonus. They served fresh, piping hot beignets with warm marmalade honey as well. Loved the waitress, Autumn! She recommended really good choices. The food was excellent. I had the chorizo and avocado omelet with loaded Gouda grits! The spiked caramel cold brew hit the spot for brunch. I also had a lemon blueberry mimosa and it was very refreshing! Start your day right, go HERE!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfectly relaxed ideal for brunch done right. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which instantly set the tone for a great experience. The food? Outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour. You can truly taste the quality and freshness in every bite from the perfectly seasoned eggs to the rich, comforting flavours that make you want to come back again and again. Portions were generous without being overwhelming, and everything came out hot and perfectly timed. ‏Nice place with good food. The eggs were well cooked and tasty. I had tea with chocolate and waffles — the waffles were soft and good. The sauce on the waffles had a light mint flavor that I personally didn’t like, but overall it was a nice experience.

I enjoyed a wonderfully prepared “Southwest Scrambler”, the plating presentation was jaw-dropping! The waitress was superb, very courteous and attentive regularly for drink refills. The decor inside was clean and delightful with plenty of seating. I recommend this cafe to anyone, local or tourist. You won’t be disappointed!
