8 dollars for 2 pieces of itty bitty chicken and no flavor And I’m sure they use the same oil to fry the fish in. The beef chunks in the stew was hard. Not edible. The rice was just not good. My friend and I got home , tasted the food and we both had to trash it. Over priced especially for the quality and the flavor. Very very disappointed.
This was our first time trying African food. The fried chicken was delicious and crispy. Also the plantains were delicious and amazing. The rice was spicy and a bit oily. But took 1 point off because since the time we came, we had to wait 30-40 minutes. The guy at the counter came and explained to us that the food here is made fresh every time customers order so it takes a bit of time. WE WILL COME BACK. Don't miss JOLLOF RICE AND FRIED BANANAS
If you are looking for authentic Ghanian delicacies complete with the spices and aroma, then this is the place to come to. The food is freshly made while you wait, and the serving size is large. The staff were friendly and attentive. The furniture arrangement and the music give off the motherland's ambiance.
Great place the wait staff was superb they went above beyond to assure that clients are pleased. The food was spicy and gave an avant- gout of what I will face next month as I travel to Ghana for the time!
Very disappointed in the Food I received from here. The food is very inconsistent. The Food was overwhelmingly spicy which is completely uncalled for. I grew up eating spicy food but this level of spice is ridiculous, my mouth is on fire. The goat stew I ordered was not thoroughly cooked, very hard to chew, was a complete mess, my teeth was hurting. I couldn’t digest it. Insanely high prices for small portions of food. The prices can’t be justified. However the Jollof was some of the best I’ve tried. May go back, but place needs to pay attention to details.
