This Is one of the best soul food restaurants in the Acadiana area. One of their Tuesday specials is Fried Chicken. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful without being overly spicy. Each of the sides I got all had great flavor, which is crazy to have that many different dishes all with great flavor. Thanks again Mr Chad & Miss Sylvia for your hospitality.

This family has worked hard to create a wholesome environment that invites the friendly and those ready to sample true Louisiana Soul. Anointed Soul Food is a rare treat. The rib meat is so tender!! The ochre is seasoned to perfection! Bread pudding never tasted so good!

I forgot to take a picture when I sat down. It looked so good that I couldn’t take a picture. My husband & we had bbq pork steak, ribs, Mac n cheese,yams & beans. just had to get into it and oh my goodness it was so good. The atmosphere is really beautiful the people were beautiful. Live music. Just everything 10 out of 10. I sure will try again! Sweets for days!!

Hi Everyone, My review encompasses a multitude of 5* ratings for the food, the service and the atmosphere created by the owners and their staff. My experience covers breakfast, lunch and dinner meals, the staff and the owners. Bottomline - The food is exceptional! Many items from the menu were new to me due to me being an out of towner from the Great State of California, yet now I'm in the Great State of Louisiana and what an introduction I've had to date! All the dishes I tried were phenomenal, no matter the time of day. I've passed along my next comment directly to the owners many times and in summary ...
