Annapurna’s World Vegetarian Café

Very disappointed with our experience. I ordered a Mumbai frankie with mozzarella cheese, but it was served with cheddar cheese instead. My husband ordered a masala dosa, and surprisingly, there was hardly any difference in taste or filling between the frankie and the dosa. Both felt very similar and lacked authenticity. We also ordered kitchari, and it did not taste like kitchari at all. I have had authentic Ayurveda/yoga food in India before, and the flavors here were nothing close to what it should be. Overall, the food was not authentic and did not meet our expectations. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

This is a very small local chain that you can find in New Mexico. It offers Ayurvedic food. This means it’s all vegetarian and much of it is vegan. The food quality is super high, it’s quite tasty, and the place and the food are very clean. It’s such a blessing to have a place like this to eat while traveling in New Mexico!

Good place for clean vegetarian eating, although I'm not sure if everything is organic. Use of dosa to replace tortilla is genius! Food is tasty but may be a little under seasoned for some. Portions are filling. Kirtan music can be a bit distracting.

At Annapurna’s World Vegetarian Cafe I ordered the Falafel, but they only have a wrap, so I asked if they could make a sandwich they agreed and attempted to make one for me but it was not too great. I would NOT agree to their suggestion of cheese again on a falafel sandwich again overall the restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. I like that you can see into the kitchen too the fries were good, but the watery 'garlic sauce' will be a pass in the future Looking forward to trying more of their menu when I am in the area

Every time I come here lately, the food is different. Today the soup of the day is sambar. This is supposed to be a lentil soup that is red in color. It used to be that way. I’ve already stopped ordering water from these people because it taste like crap But now I’m thinking “ is that the same water that they’re cooking everything with too?” Starting to get turned off to this place.
