Anko Sushi

Anko Sushi lived up to the hype. The nigiri omakase punched above its weight for the $60 price tag. The seaweed salad was delicious and different than others I’ve had which all taste similar. The service was friendly and included a free dessert. We loved the bar at the streatery and think it offers a great value!

Hands down the best omakase in the city. The quality and the freshness of the fish is excellent. The food hall is very non-traditional, so bear that in mind before deciding to leave a negative review! Did it take a while to receive my food? Yes. But that is to be expected when you are getting a beautifully handcrafted meal. The presentation was beautiful and each piece has individual and unique flavor. This was my first time visiting, and as a lover of fresh fish- Anko Sushi takes the lead when it comes to sushi in Louisville.

We had the omakase tray, volcano roll, and bang bang roll and they were all so deliciousssssss!!! The fish was fresh and everything was coherent. Very good flavors. Would recommend!

This was my first omakase experience. It was really fun! I wasn’t a fan of the first piece I had, but the rest were good and very fresh. I really enjoyed the experience! I also tried their Virginia shy roll & loved it 🙌

Best omakase I’ve ever had! The fish is so fresh and I loved the wagyu addition to the omakase! Also had the eel roll and caterpillar roll. 10/10!
