Customer Reviews
The finest bread in Washington. Very high quality food made with love! Fantastic atmosphere, I love the smell when you walk in the door. You might even get to say hi to one of the cats roaming the premises!
Very limited menu and hours but fantastic items. Their bread will put hair on your chest. As soon as you get it gone put in in a plastic bag, otherwise after a few days the crust will get so hard that you can not cut it with a bread knife. Their apple oatmeal cookies are to die for as is their Brie and tomato baguette sandwiches. Only open Friday through Sunday.
We got a marionberry pie and a baguette. The crust of the pie is the star, it is a shortbread crust and it's not like the typical pie crust you're used to. The filling was a little shy if life but enjoyable, it was like a normal cherry but without the tart. The baguette was ok, but don't get it at the end of the day (save price normal but just as hard as day old).
I stop here every time I can when I’m hiking in central Washington. The ham and butter baguette is my go-to, and I usually add a pastry for good measure - this time I added the black bottom cupcake. The quality here is high. The team is friendly. The vibe is great. I usually eat in the nice outdoor seating area, but this time I took it to eat at one of the picnic tables along Tumwater Canyon. This place is definitely worth the stop on your drive to or from Wenatchee.
The tomato Brie sandwich is to die for and I absolutely loved the fruit tart. Quality of the bread and pastry is unexpectedly exceptional. Was disappointed that I had to use the portable toilets though and there was no place to wash my hands properly. Very nice outdoor seating! Nowhere to sit inside though.
