I’ve been on a journey to find the best breakfast burrito in AZ and this is it. This burrito RIPS. Bring one home for your friends, Anita street market is the real deal. Flour tortilla had the best texture of any tortilla I’ve ever held in my hands. I don’t have any more pics of the burrito, once i started eating it i couldn’t think of anything else.
Wondered in after reading an article about the historical building designation and the tortilla hype. I had the chorizo burrito and a sample of the red chili. Both were fantastic. The conversation with Gracie, the 2nd generation owner really warmed my heart. The spot is historically significant and has delicious home-cooked tortillas/ burritos
Wow, authentic Tucson flavor and fresh beans, yes please. Recommend to anyone who likes a taste of home!
Good food, got the red chilli burro. Some of the best tortilla I’ve had. Also some of the worst service I’ve had. Waited 45 minutes for food and it came one at a time which confused the elderly in my group. Music was also too loud for them to hear the person taking our order.
My buddy was excited to take me here (on a Saturday, for lunch) knowing I'm a big fan of good torts. We both got the red chili burrito and I got some tortillas. Everything was wrong that day, maybe an anomaly, but being my first time... well, I'll not be returning. Burrito - Pretty big, but had like 2 oz of extra stainey-red juice that went everywhere and stained everything. Kinda bland too. Maybe because it was a white guy and an Asian they thought we'd not be chili people. Or maybe just not a spicy dish. Took quite a while for what it seems it should have, only two other couples ahead of us. Maybe 15-20 minutes or so which would have been no biggie had they delivered the goods. 1 - 10 ... maybe a 4. Tortillas - they said they make them to order, ordered with the meal. Didn't c
