ANISE Viet Cuisine

I've seen this place change hands and name a few times. Anise disappointed me at first, but has significantly improved over the years. Food is great always comes fresh and piping hot, service is always good

Ordered the shrimp pho & shrimp summer rolls and they were both quite delicious! Food took less than 10 minutes to come out. Only minus was that it was pricier than I thought it would be for a bowl of pho, but recommend trying it! Cute restaurant

I ordered take out pho, I ordered the round ey steak. The broth was good but lacked depth of flavor. I was originally nervous that they had sent the veggie broth instead of the pho broth. Otherwise, the soup was pretty good! Service was fantastic, they were fast and kind. I would give it another try some time!

Had the Chicken stay skewer, Hanoi style vermicelli with grilled pork, and Tofu noodle with shrimp paste. Really enjoyed the skewer and vermicelli, tasted pretty fresh, light. The skewer came with a peanut type sauce and some vinegary cucumber. Was nice and light. The fish sauce for the vermicelli has some chili pepper to it, and the side salad had some cilantro and basil. Complimentary water had lime in it. Thought the tofu noodles were noodles made of tofu, but it was just noodles with a side of fried tofu triangles. The shrimp paste was too strong for me. Heard it's an acquired taste. Pho with meatballs and eye round came out super quick. Was great. Vermecelli with chicken and spring roll was great. Ample fish sauce, comes with carrot, lettuce. Crushed peanuts, and fried onion bits

Tried out this Anise Viet Cuisine location for an early Friday dinner. We were immediately seated in the large dining area, which had other diners already eating. The menu was large and varied, with way more grilled items than I typically see which was a nice addition. Service throughout was quick, and the actual pho and summer rolls we received were delicious. Good service, tasty pho, and fair prices - had a great time!
