Anise Culinary

Anise made our office Christmas party the best one we’ve had yet! The chef-led cooking class was full of laughs, great energy, and holiday cheer! Cooking together and then sitting down to enjoy the absolutely delicious meal we made ourselves was such a fun and memorable way to celebrate. A special thank you to Chef Megan for teaching us some chef skills and making the experience so engaging and enjoyable!!! Amazing food, cozy festive vibes, and a truly unique experience—highly recommend!

I was here a year ago or so and loved it. Every couple months we check the menu to see if they brought back what we had that night because it was so good. We have raved about it for over to our family and our entire friend group. They had this dessert that was on the menu as a chocolate salami and was hands-down the best dessert I’ve ever had. As a super sweet surprise for Valentine’s Day this year, my husband reached out and requested the chef to make the chocolate salami again as a specialty order and was happy to pay whatever price she said. He was supposed to be pick it up on the 14th, which is Valentine’s Day. He showed up and the chef did not make it. She said that she forgot which is understandable huge holiday and I’m sure they were busy. To make it up she said that she would make

Our original plans were to go to FW for date night but we decided to go Granbury & visit Anise since it had been awhile. So pleased that we did!! As always the food was superb and the service outstanding!! Our meals tonight included - Venison tartare, baked scallops, Bison steak, Antelope (shredded) and a whoopie pie! The names of the meals do not give a full description of each but I can promise you, it all tasted delicious!🤤 Highly recommend! Perfect place to step outside of your comfort zone!

Cosy little restaurant with an intimate feel. Limited menu which is outstanding. My wife and I enjoyed the smoked duck crepe and mixed green salad for appetizers, followed by a Nilgai chop for me and Red snapper for the missus. The missus swore by the fish. Although I’d have preferred the meat slightly less red, it was still amazing! Had to skip dessert as we were stuffed. Washed the meal down with some very nice Napa cab franc! Will defo be back here if in this neck of the woods.

Wonderful date night dinner with the Husband!! Fantastic food and wonderful service. Braised lamb crêpe for an appetizer, smoked trout entrée along with the kangaroo tenderloin. Just WOW!
