Angelina's Fine Italian Deli

I could write a book about this place. I’ve been a loyal customer turned family to the Occhipinti’s for many years. If you grew up in an Italian American household, you’ll feel right at home here. Angelina and the boys created something special here simply by being themselves. Just perfect Italian American soul food and a warm loving family dishing it out. NOBODY does it better.

One of my favorite delis I've ever been to. From Bergen County, I have been going to delis my whole life and obviously have favorites. This place is a few minutes from my work so only started going here a few years ago. But it was pretty quickly at the top of my list. Perfect sandwich every time (I get the Salvatore on seeded semolina). They also have awesome chicken cutlets, rice balls, and I'm sure plenty of other dishes. Great service. Family run. Keep it going.

Everything at this deli is amazing, but their sandwiches truly stand out—they’re fresh, flavorful, and consistently top-notch. You can tell a lot of care goes into what they make. What really makes this place special, though, is the people. They treat their regulars like family, and around the holidays you can even see their extended family helping out. It gives the deli such a warm, welcoming feel and makes you want to keep coming back.

The best that ever was and ever will be! Angelina's is the best spot for Italian food in the tri state area. You don't get quality like this even in some of the best restaurants around! The John Special is the broccoli rabe, chicken cutlet and provolone classic that is a long time favorite. The Chicken Vodka Parmesan Roll is outstanding, simply outstanding. Everything is fresh, tender and flavorful. The only downside to this place is that everyone loves it. Better get there early! The staff are incredibly friendly, good people and I always look forward to seeing them. No one encapsulates old Italian values and cooking like them! Come hungry!

If you go at lunchtime make sure you don't have other plans, I was on line for almost 30 minutes. Got the chicken cutlet sandwich and it was amazing. Everything fresh, good size, A+, well worth the weight
