Anderson's Frozen Custard

I LOVE Anderson been going there since a small child. The quality of roast beef has stayed but in this economy portions seemed less then I remember. They forgot my horse radish... it happens, I walked up to kindly ask for it and I received it instantly. Ice cream is amazing from what I remember. Open face turkey sandwich over mashed potatoes has always been a 2nd favorite for me. Great curly fries with cheese!! Kid friendly, indoor and outdoor seating.

Visited 3/5- I normally enjoy coming here because of the atmosphere and friendly staff, however, on this day the person taking the order had a very nasty attitude. Reggie, is her name(at least that’s the name tag she was wearing). I understand that everyone has their bad days, however, if that’s the case she should’ve been placed in the back to avoid direct contact with the customers.

We had a sweet tooth after lunch as we passed through on our way to the Falls. A nice woman at the BFLO store recommended Andersons and we're glad we asked! Wifey liked her Graham Cracker hard scooped ice cream, and I loved my twist frozen custard mixed with Heath.

Found this gem during my last visit to Buffalo. Reviewers raved about the frozen custard, which has thicker consistency than ice cream. The vanilla frozen custard was great, not overwhelmingly sweet, without the mess that comes with rapidly-melting ice cream. It's so popular that the restaurant has two queue lines, one for ice cream and the other for food. As for food, the cashier recommended the roast beef on weck, which also seems to be the local favourite. The roast beef was tender and flavourful, and the salt on top of the bun added an interesting balance when in moderation (I had to discard some salt from the bun, as it overpowered the beef slightly).
