Anchor Stone Deck Pizza

I’ve been going to Anchor Pizza in Newburyport for years, and they have never disappointed me. They always get my order exactly right, and the quality is consistently amazing. My favorite part of their pizza is the sauce — it has chunky tomatoes! It really makes their pizza stand out. The customer service is just as great as the food. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, and the owner is especially kind and appreciative of customers. It’s a local spot you can always count on. Highly recommend!

Visited yesterday. We ordered their cheese pizza and added chicken/mushroom. Wow! The best thin crust pizza I’ve ever had and I’m from the Merrimack Valley. The ingredients were fresh and the pizza was cooked perfectly. I would get this pizza all the time if I lived closer. We also had their Cobb salad which was good! Two things: there wasn’t enough mushrooms- not even close. Very sparse. There are two picnic tables outside but if they added smaller tables it would allow more people to enjoy their food outdoors.

My friends and I come up to Newburyport every summer. This year we tried Anchor Stone Deck Pizza. It was fabulous. I had the chicken parm sandwich, with fresh pesto and the most tender chicken. The bread was warm and oooh so good. My friends had the Buffalo chicken canzone which was large and she loved it. My other friends had a huge Ceasars salad and a slice of spinach, squash and mozzarella pizza. Also fresh and delicious. We will definitely make this a stop every year!

We just moved to the area and have probably ordered from here 5 times in the first month. Definitely our new go-to pizza place. Always great quality food and quick service. Update: Three years later and it’s still our go to pizza. Super fast delivery and such good quality!

The pizza was really good, we all enjoyed it a lot. We had just come back from the beach and 2 pizzas for the 4 teenagers was just enough. Definitely would recommend.
