My husband and I were informed by a friend that this restaurant had amazing food. We celebrated our Wedding Anniversary with dinner here. Valet Parking was very reasonable ($15) and met us at the front of the restaurant. Once inside the hostess greeted and immediately seated us. We had 6:30pm reservations and arrived 15mins early. We were seated in the back larger room of the restaurant. The list of mocktails and appetizers were very nice. The flavors of the food were savory and flavorful. My husband ordered the lamb shank and I the steak. Our waitress was amazing and very detailed oriented. My steak was over cooked and dry. I had to send it back. Cold mezze were inconsistent, and service on a busy New Year’s Eve was rushed and error-prone, with pacing issues and billing mistakes. Worth returning on a regular night, when the kitchen’s strengths would likely shine without the service pressure. Atmosphere Ammoora makes a strong first impression. The interior is striking without feeling overdone, clearly inspired by Syrian design, and the view into the kitchen on the way to the dining room adds confidence. We absolutely love our experience at Ammoora and will be back soon! The atmosphere was beautiful and the whole staff were so welcoming and kind! All of the food was delicious but we’ll be back for more hummus and raspberry sorbet!

I had a fantastic experience at Ammora! The ambiance is warm and inviting, with beautiful decor that immediately sets the tone for a great evening. I tried the Baba Ghanouj to start, which was smooth and perfectly seasoned. For the main course, I had the Braised Lamb Shank — absolutely incredible. It was tender and flavorful, served over fragrant saffron rice with roasted mushrooms, pomegranate seeds, and a pine nut gremolata that added a wonderful texture and brightness. The rich lamb jus brought everything together beautifully. Every detail of the dish was thoughtfully executed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

Beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere, but the experience was mixed. The service was friendly, though the staff seemed overwhelmed and everything moved very slowly. Portions were noticeably small for the price, and some dishes had unnecessary twists that took away from the authentic flavors. Overall, a decent experience but not one I’d rush back to.
