Amerigo Italian Restaurant

This place was excellent. Had a group dinner and all the food looked great. I had veal Marsala that came with fettuccini and the taste was delicious. Rich brown sauce. We had the Bruschetta appetizer and it was fantastic with tons of tomatoes. I think everyone enjoyed their plates. The atmosphere is excellent and I’d say romantic for a date option. Service was pretty quick even though it was busy.

Another excellent meal. Amerigo is one of our favorite restaurants. If one avoids the Sunday after church and holidays such as Mother’s Day or Valentines you can usually get seated with little to no delay. Our Sunday Brunch was an immediate seating because we came around 11:00. As we were leaving the parking lot was full and folks were waiting. Our server, Marissa, was fantastic. She was genuinely friendly and provided prompt, courteous service. Shout out to whoever hired her! We have never had a bad meals here. Brunch as the Tuscan Breakfast and the Crab Cake Benedict. Both were excellent. The Polenta with the Porkchops was better than the Polenta with the Crabcakes. If you aren’t a polenta fan maybe a substitute could be arranged. It's been a while since we ate here but nothing has changed: superb food and service in a great atmosphere. We had pizza and chicken Marguerite which were excellent. The portions are very generous and the prices are very reasonable. Wait staff are friendly and efficient without being overbearing. Can't wait to come back soon!

Ordered take-out this evening after not having Amerigos for a few years and it was just as delicious as I remember. My partner and I ordered the mushroom ravioli and crawfish pasta with two ceasar salads and both were so flavorful and filling. Also, as a ceasar salad girly, I LOVE their ceasar dressing. Now that I've been reminded of how good the food is, we will definitely be back on a regular basis.

We ordered our main dishes from the seasonal menu. We ordered the Shrimp creamy pesto pasta and the Carmelized salmon. Both were phenomenal and perfect for the summer. Our appetizer was the calamari. The sauces that came with it were wonderful. The free bread was not the best this time as it usually is. It was hardened, and room temperature. It's usually warmed and soft. Our service was pleasant per usual.
