American Pines Cabins

This was our family’s third time staying in the lodge and our fourth time staying with American Pines. We can’t imagine going anywhere else. The location is peacefully perfect and central for all the things we like to do in the Hills. The lodge is so spacious, the kitchen is well-stocked to cook for a large number and we enjoy the open concept layout so our whole family can make memories inside, as well. We are so appreciative of the extra mile the hosts go to make each stay wonderful.

Hands down the perfect little gem of a cabin! Great pricing, great quiet location by a family owned business. I highly recommend anyone to come stay! I plan on returning back again! The cabin itself was extremely clean and had all the necessities needed to enjoy a stay.

Such a beautiful cabin and an amazing location. Only a few miles from Mt. Rushmore and Hill City. ||The beds were very comfortable and they had everything you'd ever need. Very up to date on everything! They even had ceiling fans which were an added bonus. 10/10 would recommend to any and every one. We will definitely be back!

We stayed a week at American Pines in June 2025. We loved the cabin. Comfortable, clean, quiet, family (and pet) friendly atmosphere made our trip just a bit nicer. The staff were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We would recommend anyone to stay here. We will be staying with them on our next visits to the Black Hills in the future. Thank you for helping us have a great vacation.

Had a great time at American Pines. The cabins were very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable the kitchen and outside grill had all the items we needed. The outdoor area was well kept with great views of the hills. Close enough to area attractions while still giving us a place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We will definitely stay here next time we visit.
