American Flatbread

I was super impressed to find a basic hot lunch here for under $20 including tip. Got the mini soup and mini flatbread combo. This week’s soup was brisket kimchi stew, which was frankly astoundingly, eye-wateringly salty but otherwise tasty as hell. The herbs and cheese flatbread was hands down great. They’ve made a lot of design decisions and they don’t all go together, but at least someone on this godforsaken planet actually made choices about decor. I’m down with it.

Loved the location and ambience of the building. Watching the pizzas go into the wood burning often and talk to the chef was nice. Ordered a fun pizza with bacon, apple and honey. Took home homemade soup for dinner as well

I was pleasantly surprised that this spot is vegan friendly! My fiance and I split the create-your-own flatbread with dairy-free cheese, sauce, peppers, and sundried tomatoes. I also ordered caramelized onions on it, but didn’t see or taste them. Still, the flatbread was delicious with light, crispy crust. For beverages, I got a maple lemonade. It was tasty, but didn’t really taste different than regular lemonade. My fiance got a root beer that he enjoyed. You order at the counter and then they bring the food out to you. Overall, a really solid lunch experience! I also loved the food-themed artwork all around the restaurant, including outside and even in the bathrooms.

We got take out. Really interesting pizza options, very thin, chewy gluten-y crust, but in a good way. The apple cheddar bacon pizza is excellent! The service was super friendly and ahead of schedule. The place was jammin when we went in to pick up, so it looks like a lively fun place to go.

Best pizza I have ever eaten and I'm fussy! We had a reservation for 4 on possibly heir busiest weekend of the year - Parents' Weekend at Middlebury College, still busy foliage season, town bustling like I've never seen it before. We begged for 3 extras to join us - they were swamped, and yet they were so pleasant and so trying to accommodate us; magically a table for 7 cancelled just after we were were politely turned down on our request, and we were all able to sit. Our waiter was amazing! Totally calm and speedy in smiles and service and graciousness! We ordered the sausage, a peppery pizze and the incredibly amazing maple which sounded weird, but OMG so great!
