Neighborhood family fish spot with consistently good food. The meals are always fresh and well prepared. The only downside is that the young ladies taking orders often have a very unfriendly attitude, which can take away from the overall experience. If the customer service matched the quality of the food, it would easily be an excellent place to visit regularly.

I ordered a catfish salad. The fish was too salty!!! I couldn’t even eat it. The salad portion is scarce. A waste of $15.

The know before you go information: After placing your order in the drive thru if there's a vehicle before you that's consider 15-20 minutes and when you finally get to the window it may be another 15-20 minutes or more so consider your lunch break wisely. The good news,,, best fish I've had in a while other that at home. It was worth the wait hot ,crispy outside flaky inside. The tartar sauce and hot sauce was great with it The hush puppies were perfect. The customer service could use some improvement.

I bought the 10 piece whiting fish dinner for my family to eat and a fish sandwich for myself. The dinner came with two large sides. I got fries and okra. My family all enjoyed the food and the sandwich was really good. I would definitely recommend Ameen’s for good seafood and I’d go there again.

I dont even see how they even at 4 stars. The older Lady, who said she's been there over 27 years getting paid under the table, act like she was angry, attitude when I ask for viniger. The fish was hard as toenails, with no taste at all(Tilapia) worst i ever taste. The red beans an rice was sour. Not to mention the ck is salty as ever, that was a extra 7 dollars. I will regret for ever buying 6 pc fish dinner for 30 dollars, 1st an last time ever going there!
