The owner was very nice. The butchers don't really know how to fabricate in my opinion. The roasts, as they call them, were just bandsaw cut through the bone hind quarter. I was told I lost meat because the front shoulders were no good. I shot the deer in and out the chest, one shot only. They definitely did not give me back all the meat from my doe. Based from years of fabricating, as a chef, I should have received 20+ pounds of meat than I did. Sadly as a first time here I will never go back and highly advise to avoid the place.

These people need to be SHUT DOWN! I took my wife's big bodied 4.5 year old buck here and received under 40 lb of meat (I was charged over $550). My receipt said one back quarter was gone (DEFINITELY not true). The lady behind the counter said it was gone when it was dropped off, the guy behind the counter said it was shot and couldn't be salvaged. NEITHER of these things are true! My wife made a perfect double lung shot, and I cleaned and gutted the deer as he was hanging in the barn, there was ZERO injury to either hind quarter or any meat contamination anywhere. When I dropped him off, the butcher even complimented me on how clean the meat was! When I told the guy behind the counter I was being shorted, he offered to SELL me venison summer sausage and said I could pick it up in a week.

Fantastic job processing my deer, super fast turn around and very little waste.
