Alta Vida’s Swiss fondue pop-up was a complete culinary misfire. We ordered the “Fondue Bourguignonne.” What arrived bore no resemblance to the classic dish. Instead of hot oil suitable for properly cooking beef, we were given a barely simmering beef broth over an underpowered burner. There was steam, but no real boil — making it impossible to cook the thinly sliced raw beef beyond a painfully slow poach. Pre-cooked shrimp and chicken were included (inexplicably), along with mushrooms and halved new potatoes. The execution was incoherent. Service structure was equally lacking: plastic ramekins of mayonnaise-based sauces, no individual plates initially, and minimal utensils. This wasn’t rustic charm — it was poor planning. We came here with a conference group of about 30. The restaurant was clean, we were greated by and extremely friendly bartender named Ryan. The food was buffet style since we were a large group. Homemade salsa, amazing. Tacos, burritos, quesildillas, beans, veggie options, salad, all the toppings and desert! All were DELISH! Definitely good Mexican food especially since it was on the resort property. Now let's talk staff. We had Heidi as our hoatess/ waitress.she was attentive, accommodating, pleasant and fun. As the night went on, she was very personable and laughing with us! She was awesome!!! Ryan was our bartender. What a nice guy who also was pleasant, polite, fun and hard working. There are fire pits outside as well. If I ever return to Camelback, I will definitely return to Alta Vi

It is so close to the resort so we walk to here. But we were told the menu just get changed ,which is different than what is online menu. Then it is more than 30 mins wait . Seems they prob completely forgot us . The kids are so starving .. . Maybe they have computer issues. The waitress is not bad she try to be tentative but just the food is too slow .. and really a waste of time if you want to do something after dinner . If they could be quicker serve the food I will recommend for 5 star

Was relocated to hemispheres inside the lobby of the actual resort possibly due to renovation but the food was plentiful and very delicious. Our server was also super attentive and very accommodating!

I ordered takeaway from Alta Vida at Camelback Poconos while staying at the resort. At first, the food looked fine, but once I started eating, I discovered the bottom was completely burnt and inedible. That was disappointing, especially given the expectations at a resort restaurant. That said, the other food items we ordered were good and enjoyable, so it seems this was more of a one-off mistake than the norm. When I called to let them know, the staff were extremely polite and immediately refunded me — no hassle, no request for proof, just excellent customer service. Mistakes can happen, but how a place responds makes a big difference. Because of their service (and the fact that the rest of the food was tasty), I’d be open to giving them another try in the future.
