Al's Cafe & Creamery

Great place offering a surprisingly wide array of food. The variety of Schnitzel options was a treat. Prices are on par with the area, so higher than not. Still, the food was good and the antique decor was delightful.

06/22 Me and two family members came in for Salmon Fest menu specials. Each of us had a different one..see pic's. Creme sauce. Brazillian. Terayki. All amazing!

This place has the most amazing shrimp pasta I've ever had! I will come back here time and time again. The waitress was sweet and friendly and extremely helpful! If you're ever here request Kate! If you love shrimp pasta this is one of the best places to go!! Shrimp fest is so amazing!

We had an exceptional dining experience at Al's Cafe from the appetizer (Crab Cakes), dinner, and dessert. Not only were the entrees properly prepared and delicious, they were presented wonderfully.

Honestly, don't bother if you’re looking for basic service. We drove an hour all the way from Rockford specifically for malts, only to be told they 'wouldn’t make them' because they had 'a lot going on' for Valentine’s Day. I’m sorry, but isn't that the point of being a cafe? If you can’t handle making a drink on your menu because you’re busy, don't open your doors. Super disappointing to waste two hours of driving for a place that picks and chooses when they feel like doing their job. Definitely won’t be back.
