Country Donuts

Country Donuts in Elgin has been one of those reliable spots I keep going back to. The old fashioned cherry donut is a favorite of mine and I also enjoy their coconut donut, strawberry frosted, and long Johns. Their sausage breakfast sandwich honestly surprised me… easily one of the best I’ve had from a donut shop with the cheese melted just right. I also love that the drive-thru is open 24 hours and the lobby stays open from 5am - until midnight which makes for a nice diner like experience if you have random late-night craving! I just overall appreciate consistent food places with great prices like this one. I love the old school feel too! Very nostalgic.❤️

I drive into the Elgin area every week, and once in a while stop into the Country Donut shop. Everytime I come in, I get greeted with a smile. The variety is very good and the taste is great. A must stop for Donut lovers.

My favorite doughnut spot in the NW burbs! & One of the only places serving red velvet doughnuts (Which are AMAZING)! Both the Elgin and Crystal Lake locations are great and MUST STOP SPOTS! 10/10 🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯

Went for lunch on Tuesday to get the meal deal using coupon on fb. Had to try the chili because a bad review they posted. Also got an Asiago bagel and a small soda. The chili is usually ready by 9am daily and made in house. It was extremely hot so watch your tongue and it had all the typical chili ingredients. Beans, meat, peppers, onion and the chili powder kick. It was very good. The bagel I could taste the cheese immediately and it came with bonus sesame and poppy seeds on top. Store employee offered butter or cream cheese for the bagel and for the chili, cheese, onions, and sour cream if desired. Ive only had the pastries in the past which are always worth the trip. Also bought a blueberry muffin for after dinner. I would have the chili again and the bagel if I wasn’t in the mood for
