Al's Bar and Grille

Al’s is my “hometown” bar with great food! As a Western NYer relocated, I’ve been coming to Al’s for years, both during Bills season for games and as a dining customer. The staff are always great, welcoming and make you feel like you’re on the set of Cheers! The wings, the Beef on Weck and the full menu is like walking into a bar back in NY, always finger licking good. You often forget to review the places you frequent weekly because you tell the managers and employees each time you’re there how great they are. But I wanted to share for anyone looking for a great meal, a cold drink, even if you don’t drink or have an N.A., you’re always welcome! Come for a Bills game, leave as family! I love my bar! I’m so thankful to everyone there for always taking care of us!

Nice atmosphere with plenty of TVs and seating. Also have a patio area. Fish and chips is good, and there's also a fish special on Fridays. The regular fish and chips is a bit better to me because it's more seasoned than the Friday fish fry. Pizza is great as well as the wings. Fries are nice and seasoned. Ranch is good. Great drinks also. Oh and the fried mushrooms were solid too. Everything here is great. We've been back several times since I first posted this review and it's always great and always great service!

Best staff ever!! Best atmosphere! Love the people - especially the bartenders - Shea and Nick!!! Food is outstanding!!! My favorite place in Lake Norman!!!! Must try and you will be hooked!!

Don't miss out on the wings. I recommend getting at least 12 wings so you can have two flavore. I had Honey Habanero which isn't hot ,mild spice. (Not hot like I thought. Then I had the barbalo, which is definitely the way to go. Perfectly sauced and a nice lil spicy kick,definitely my favorite.

This is a Bill's Backer Bar! You feel right at home everybody is friendly they serve authentic football food for the game prices are reasonable
