Alondra's Mexican Restaurant

The restaurant was very clean, The good was good, really nice flavors, only issues for me are peas in the rice and stringy type cheese in the enchiladas, but that's a personal choice and should not reflect negative to them. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I enjoyed it and will eat there again for sure.

My first trip to Alondra's was a delight! I had the Mexican Plate meal, #28. The portions were generous, and the food was delicious! The enchiladas were very tasty, the beans were creamy, and the taco was crisp and well stuffed! The server was friendly and attentive. Our food came quickly and was hot. The dining area is composed of booths and tables that were well spaced. The prices were comparable to most places and very reasonable. I highly recommend Alondra's and will eat there next time I'm I'm Lavernia! Good job, Alondra's!

We have patronize this restaurant several Sundays for breakfast. It has been hit and miss. One Sunday the food and service is good and other Sundays not great. That said we do enjoy their coffee, pancakes, and over easy eggs.

TERRIBLE service. Not worth the trip considering the food was nothing to rave about. We asked the front lady for information on the menu and she gave us the bare minimum. We tried to make sure we understood correctly only for her to overcharge us on the price she told us. When asked about it, she became visibly frustrated having to explain it and then gave consistent attitude and started raising her voice. Not once did I give her attitude. There were multiple things we ordered that we tried to get clarification about before ordering which she failed to give then got upset at us when asked about it.

My family and I loved this restaurant but under new ownership I’m appalled. The food is so cheap and thrown together, I vomited, as one of my kids due to Carne guisada tacos they were so fatty it was almost only fat. Why did y’all take the best Mexican restaurant in our little town and destroy it so that if we want good breakfast tacos you gotta go to San Antonio or buy alpo chunk wet dog food to get better? In our tiny town everyone has regulars and everyone knows each other but you’ve even wrecked that. Not everyone knows yet so they still show up for hope that they might get good food.
