Stopped in at Aloi’s in Shinnston, WV for dinner and wow, this place absolutely delivered. I had both the meatballs and rigatoni and the sausage and rigatoni, and every bite was incredible. The meatballs were tender and full of flavor, and the sausage was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The rigatoni held the sauce beautifully, rich, comforting, and clearly made with care. This is the kind of food that reminds you why classic Italian dishes never go out of style. And I have to talk about the homemade Italian dressing. Phenomenal is not an exaggeration. Bright, balanced, and packed with flavor, it tasted fresh and authentic, like someone’s family recipe that has been perfected over years. The whole experience felt warm and genuine, great food, generous portions, and that unmista
I had heard about the cheese pepperoni rolls here & figured I’d try them. They were big and very tasty and worth the drive- Also got the rigatoni and meatballs- Awesome.
Great people, great place. I just wish they would have a sausage sandwich that doesn't have hot peppers. Not everyone can have or eat that. Needs a sweet sausage with sweet peppers option.
Great food, I tried the uncle Donnie’s rigatoni and the 4 cheese rigatoni. Both were great and the service was as well. It seems like more of a pick up style place but it was also pretty new at the time
I’m so thankful that they are in Shinnston because it’s great for the local economy and friendly competition. Here we go: Meatball hoagie was huge in portion, enough to split for 2 people really. Bun was soft, fresh and fluffy. Price was where it should be at $13 bucks. Taste was good for what it was. Would order again. Four cheese rigatoni, the small portion is plenty big enough for one person so I’d imagine the large could be split between 2 people. Flavor was fine, yet just sloppy mess. Will skip this option next time. Price was also fair, believe at $8. The additional cost of $3.00 for a slice of bread and tiny salad to me shouldn’t be extra cost, should be part of the meal. Final thoughts: Glad to have it here, we need that. Identity is more of take out, order to go vibe. I wish if it
