Delightful dining experience in Heflin! I didn’t get any photos of the inside, but the ambiance of the restaurant is very nice. It’s classy, yet comfortable and inviting. Everything we tried was excellent! The ricotta toast was sooo good! This is a place to go when you aren’t in a rush and want to enjoy a leisurely dinner over good wine (BYO) and conversation with friends. (Entrees our group tried: Lasagna, Chicken Parm, Mushroom Ravioli, and Chicken Limone.)

One of the best restaurants I've been to locally in a long while! The staff was amazing and the food was top notch! We ate on their patio and it was so relaxing and peaceful. They even gave my little people free dessert. We will definitely be back soon!

What a hidden gem! I, my husband and mom had dinner there and it was amazing! Hubs had the meat lasagna, and mom and I both had the lobster ravioli special. We also started with rosemary focaccia. The food was outstanding - fresh, creamy and generous in portions, too. The owner visited every table to ensure satisfaction. You can take your own wine, which we did, and they uncork and serve for no fee. The ambiance is outstanding, as well, with lovely lighting, dark linens, and exposed beams - all in a cozy space. We drove from west GA to Heflin just for Almost Italy and it was well worth it.

Great Italian food. Everything we had was delicious. Lasagna was the best. No liquor license... but bring your own wine and they will provide glasses 🥂 what could be better?? Large portions, enough to take home for a second meal. Not a popular local place... I have no idea why. Open very few days a week. The owner said they were considering more days for the summer. Also considering moving to Wedowee since a lot of customers drive the distance for a great meal.

We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in the door. The decor and atmosphere were very classy. Staff were friendly and continued to check on our table. I don’t think our drink glasses were ever empty. The food was delicious and you could tell they used fresh ingredients. Dessert was just as impressive. If you want an authentic Italian experience I highly recommend Almost Italy.
