giving it 2stars to remind myself not to come again. salad bar, lots of variety. crab meat was terribly jelly. cooked food were cold. meat quality ok, but very small portion and was told that each table limited to 3 plates each round, which is a disaster because the meat came very slow, 15+mins waiting each round while the house was only half full. in 1hr we ate 3 rounds only. slowest ayce in my life. at last 30mins when the house was only 1/3 full, meat came very quick in less than 5mins. still, this is not a good ayce experience. wont come again. no fruit.

This is located at the shopping center where Target is. I love that there’s plenty of parking in this area. We were seated right away when we arrived. AYCE dinner price is $37.99. They only have 7 selections of meats. But if you saw the salad bar, you almost dont need any meat. The salad bar has all the veggies you can put in your soup. The bar also had seafood such as shrimp, crabs, baby octopus, crawfish, and many more. They, also, had different selections of noodles, fish cakes and fish balls. Another section had kimchi, japchae, tteokbokki, etc. then they had the sauce section. For dessert the had soft serve ice cream. The place is big. There’s a lot of space for big parties.

This place is exactly what I’ve been looking for in San Diego, AYCE with an appetizer bar! For appetizers, my favorites are the fried rice, japchae, and cabbage kimchi. They also serve iced green tea, which I love having with shabu-shabu. Each person gets their own pot, and you can choose one soup base. We tried the original house and beef bone soups, but both were too bland for my taste. I asked to add sukiyaki broth to my original soup, but it didn’t make much difference. They offer a variety of dipping sauces, though I found them just okay. The quality of the meat is good for AYCE, the thin slices are perfect for shabu. Over all, I’d give a 5 for the appetizer bar and service, and a 3 for the shabu itself. Still, I’d recommend this place for a fun dining experience.

Surprisingly not that busy. We've been here twice already. The staff are super attentive and the place is very clean. I appreciate our server (I think his name was Kay, sorry if I spelled it wrong!) letting me mix and match soup bases! The music isn't super loud so it's easy to have conversations. My only critique is that the water heating for the side dishes could be better. They don't stay warm for long once taken from the food bar. Will come again!

Not bad, not fantastic. It's an All You Can Eat setup, with a 90 minute time limit. The meats are well prepared, and they cook in the broth in around a minute. There's an extensive bar with veggies, fish, ready-to-eat items (kimchis, fried chicken, sesame balls, other goodies), 8 or so dipping sauces, even soft serve ice cream. Soft drinks are included in the price. The broths are ok. I had a miso broth, and my wife had the house broth. In many Shabu places, I find that the broth is super flavorful by the time you're done cooking stuff. In this case, the broths were mostly just salty. This is in the old Souplantation location. I preferred them. RIP
